Lublin is one of Poland’s larger cities—home to approximately 336,339 inhabitants. Although its location in the eastern, cooler part of the country limits the development of vineyards in the immediate vicinity, nearby regions such as Roztocze, offer a unique microclimate favorable for viticulture. For anyone looking to combine sightseeing in this dynamic city with discovering Polish winemaking, we’ve prepared a list of vineyards that can be visited on a half-day or full-day trip starting from Lublin Główny railway station.
Departing by car in the morning, you can visit one or several vineyards, enjoy a pleasant time with a glass of wine, and return to the city the same day (perhaps to continue tasting in one of the many wine bars). Because many smaller vineyards do not yet maintain regular opening hours, it’s best to call ahead and schedule your visit—otherwise, you may arrive to find no one on site. Contact details are available on each vineyard’s page on our portal.
