This year’s edition of TUCHOVINICONTEST brought Polish producers 71 medals – only three fewer than in 2024 (when there were 74). The difference is mainly due to the smaller number of entries, since by regulation only a proportional share of wines can be awarded. The highlight of this year, however, is the three Grand Gold Medals for wines with outstanding scores.

This year, the jury awarded a total of 127 medals (including 5 medals for amateur wineries) and 36 distinctions, bringing the total number of awarded wines to 163. This marks a slight increase compared to the previous edition, in which 125 medals were awarded overall.

The 30th edition of the wine competition MUVINA, held in mid-June 2025 in Prešov, Slovakia, brought a historic success for Polish wineries. Polish winemaking achieved its best-ever result in the history of the MUVINA competition. Out of 19 Polish entries, as many as 9 wines received medals.
