Winnica Płochockich
Winnica Płochockich is located in Daromin, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, on the southern slope of a hill, several kilometers from Sandomierz. The vineyard covers approximately 7 hectares, cultivating over 20 grape varieties, including Vitis vinifera (Riesling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, Traminer, Muscat, St. Laurent, Sauvignon Blanc) and hybrid varieties (Hibernal, Solaris, Johanniter, Muscaris, Seyval Blanc) . The vineyard practices ecological farming with elements of biodynamics, and all produced wines are vegan . The offerings include single-varietal wines and proprietary blends, including experimental wines aged in Georgian qvevri amphorae and using the solera system.
HISTORY OF Winnica Płochockich
Barbara and Marcin Płochoccy began their winemaking journey in 2002 by establishing their first vineyard in Glinik Polski, Podkarpackie Voivodeship . In 2006, they relocated their operations to Daromin, where they started planting vines on a new site . In 2008, Winnica Płochockich was registered with the Agricultural Market Agency and became the third vineyard in Poland to receive a license for wine sales . In 2013, the owners moved permanently to Daromin, and two years later, they opened the agritourism section of the vineyard . In subsequent years, the vineyard was gradually expanded, and the owners' son, Piotr, joined the team.
