Winnica Kędrów

Kędrów Vineyard is a family-run winery located in the village of Faliszowice, in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within the Kielecko-Sandomierska Upland. The vineyard spans 2 hectares of fertile loess soils, ideal for viticulture. The cultivation primarily includes white grape varieties such as Riesling, Siegerrebe, Johanniter, Seyval Blanc, Solaris, Muscaris, and Muscat Odeski, as well as red varieties like Regent and Zweigelt. All vineyard operations are carried out with meticulous care and dedication, resulting in high-quality wines appreciated by both experts and consumers.

HISTORY OF Winnica Kędrów

Kędrów Vineyard was established in 2011 by Justyna and Łukasz Kędrów. Both had early experiences with agriculture—Justyna assisted her family with horticulture in Faliszowice, while Łukasz, originally from the Bieszczady region, was involved in animal husbandry and fieldwork. They met during their studies at the Agricultural University in Kraków. Despite pursuing careers in other fields, they continued to help with family orchards. Their interest in winemaking began in 2008 after visiting vineyards in South Africa, California, Italy, and Hungary, inspiring them to establish their own vineyard. In 2009, they connected with Polish winemakers, and a year later, they planted 400 grapevines on their property. From the outset, the entire family, including their three sons—Kajtek, Kacper, and Karol—and grandfather Stanisław, has been involved in the vineyard's operations. In 2017, after completing the necessary legal procedures, the vineyard was officially registered, and wines from that vintage were introduced to the market.
