Mickiewicz Vineyard is located in the Lublin Voivodeship, near Opole Lubelskie. The vineyard spans 3 hectares. Grape varieties cultivated include Riesling, Solaris, Johanniter, Muscaris, Souvignier Gris, Cabernet Cortis, Regent, and Zweigelt. Wines are produced in a former livestock building made of white limestone, characteristic of the Małopolska Vistula Gap region. The production process involves manual harvesting and selection of grapes, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and aging in bottles. The vineyard offers tastings for groups ranging from 6 to 18 people from May to November, as well as on-site wine sales.
HISTORY OF Winnica Mickiewicz
In 2004, the first grapevines were planted in Opole Lubelskie. In subsequent years, a parcel in Bliskowice was acquired, allowing for the expansion of cultivation. Currently, the vineyard covers 3 hectares. Wines produced at the vineyard have received numerous awards, including gold and silver medals at the Galicja Vitis competition in 2014 and 2016.
The Polish Wine Chamber presented premium Polish wines at a B2B event in Singapore. The tasting, aimed at importers, distributors, and representatives of the hospitality sector, created an opportunity to discuss export cooperation.
