Bialystok (Białystok) is one of Poland’s larger cities, with approximately 292,000 inhabitants. The city lies in the north-eastern part of the country, often referred to as the “Polish cold pole” due to historically low winter temperatures. As a result, there are few vineyards in the immediate vicinity of Bialystok, but wine-tourism enthusiasts will find several promising projects within easy reach. For anyone looking to combine sightseeing in this unique city with discovering Polish winemaking, we’ve prepared a list of vineyards that can be visited on a half-day or full-day trip starting from Białystok Główny railway station.
Departing by car in the morning, you can visit one or several vineyards, enjoy a pleasant time with a glass of wine, and return to the city the same day. Because many smaller vineyards do not yet maintain regular opening hours, it’s best to call ahead and schedule your visit—otherwise, you may arrive to find no one on site. Contact details are available on each vineyard’s page on our portal.
