Winnica Korol
Winnica Korol is located in the village of Mielnik nad Bugiem, in the southern part of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, on the Drohiczyn Plateau. It covers an area of 6 hectares divided into two parcels of 4 and 2 hectares. Cultivated grape varieties include Cabernet Cantor, Cabernet Cortis, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Hibernal, Johanniter, Leon Millot, Marechal Foch, Merlot, Muscaris, Pinot Noir, Regent, Riesling, Rondo, Sauvignon Blanc, Seyval Blanc, Sibera, Solaris, Traminer, and Zweigelt. The vineyard features a modern winery with a tasting room accommodating up to 60 people. It offers tours combined with wine tastings and accommodation in double rooms for up to 20 guests.
HISTORY OF Winnica Korol
Winnica Korol was established in 2010 by Mikołaj Korol, the owner of an organic farm in Mielnik nad Bugiem. Since its inception, the vineyard has been developing enotourism, hosting groups from all over Poland and organizing lectures and wine-making demonstrations. Wines from Winnica Korol have received awards and distinctions at national and international competitions.
