Winnica Dymek
Winnica Dymek is a small, family-owned vineyard located in the Lublin Voivodeship, near Puławy, Kazimierz Dolny, and Nałęczów. The vineyard covers approximately 1 hectare and cultivates grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, and Pinot Noir. On-site offerings include wine tastings, vineyard tours, and the option to purchase wines both on-site and via shipping. The vineyard is pet-friendly and serves as a stop along cycling routes. Nearby attractions include horseback riding and historical sites.
HISTORY OF Winnica Dymek
Winnica Dymek was established in 2018 by Grzegorz Dymek. The initial planting included 150 Pinot Blanc vines, which quickly expanded to 750 vines on the first plot. In 2019, cultivation of Chardonnay and Zweigelt began on a second plot, four times larger than the first. The first Pinot Blanc harvest intended for wine production occurred in 2020. In 2022, the 2020 Pinot Blanc wine earned a bronze medal at the WinoPL competition in Poznań. In 2023, the red wine Zweigelt 2021, named "Karmano," received a silver medal at the same competition. Currently, the vineyard is experimenting with Merlot, Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer, and Riesling grape varieties and plans to produce rosé, sparkling, and orange wines.
