Jasło Wine Trail

City Vineyard in Jasło

The History of the Route

The Jasło Wine Trail is a unique tourism project created through the collaboration between the Department of Culture, Sports and Social Affairs of the City of Jasło, the Podkarpacie Winemakers Association, and the Jasło Winemakers Association “Vinum pro cultura”. This initiative is part of Jasło’s image-building strategy based on the slogan “Jasło – w(inne) klimaty” (a play on words suggesting both “different moods” and “wine climates”), aiming to promote the city as the capital of the reborn Polish winemaking.

The main idea behind creating this wine route is to promote Jasło’s local product – Jasło wine – as well as other regional culinary specialties. The trail allows tourists to visit vineyards with a wine map in hand, taste local wines, and make use of agritourism infrastructure offered by local winemakers.

Vineyards of the Jasło Wine Trail

The Jasło Wine Trail includes 16 vineyards located in and around Jasło (the trail covers the following towns: Jasło, Nawsie Kołaczyckie, Jareniówka, Trzcinica, and Przysieki). All vineyards are included in the city’s branding strategy and form a coherent enotourism offering for the region:

All vineyard locations along the Jasło Wine Trail can be found on this dedicated Google My Maps map prepared especially for you:

The vineyards along the route attract tourists with their enotourism offerings, wine quality, and the hospitality of the owners. Most vineyards offer:

  • Guided wine tastings;
  • Tours of vineyards and wineries;
  • Lectures on grapevine cultivation;
  • Wine production demonstrations;
  • Tasting workshops.

Some vineyards also offer agritourism facilities, including accommodation and meals.

Wine Events and Festivals

  • Jasło International Wine Days (last weekend of summer holidays);
  • Open Vineyard Day (the day after Jasło International Wine Days);
  • Polish Wine Competition in Jasło.

Winemaking in the Jasło Region

Winemaking has been integrated into Jasło’s development strategy, making the city a unique spot on the map of Polish wine tourism. Elements of this strategy include the Jasło Wine Trail, a municipal vineyard, the Podkarpacka Wine Academy, and a distinctive roundabout planted with grapevines.

Tourists visiting the Jasło Wine Trail can also enjoy other city attractions, such as the MOSiR recreation complex with an indoor pool and rope park, the Sroczyński Palace and Park Complex, and the Kwiatowa Stop leisure area. Jasło has good rail and road connections, making it easy to reach the wine trail. During the International Wine Days, special “wine trains” run from Kraków and Rzeszów.

The Jasło Wine Trail continues to develop as one of the most important tourist products of the Podkarpacie region. Planned investments include further development of enotourism infrastructure, expansion of the municipal vineyard, and the educational offer of the Podkarpacka Wine Academy. The city of Jasło is strengthening its position as the “capital of the reborn Polish winemaking,” attracting more and more tourists interested in discovering Polish wine culture. Vineyards along the Jasło Wine Trail win awards in both Polish and international wine competitions:
