Winnica Jana is a family vineyard run by Anna and Jan Kruczak, located in Zarzecze, near Jasło. It sits on a hillside offering good sun exposure and views of the Wisłoka River valley and surrounding hills. The vineyard operates with a manually-intensive, ecological approach to vine cultivation. It offers tastings, vineyard tours, and guest areas such as a gazebo and summer terrace where visitors can observe wine production in its natural setting.
HISTORY OF Winnica Jana
The history of Winnica Jana begins with initial vine plantings in 2006, when the founders established small vineyards in areas around Jasło and Dębowiec. In 2009, they selected and developed a plot in Zarzecze suited to vineyard use due to its terrain and sun exposure, as the main site for their operations.
Today the vineyard covers over 0.5 hectares of vines, including both red and white varieties suited to the local climate. Farming practices are ecological, with much of the work done by hand and minimal mechanization where possible. The owners invest in theoretical knowledge through courses and draw inspiration from foreign wine-growing traditions.
