The Jasło Wine Trail is a unique tourism project created through the collaboration between the Department of Culture, Sports and Social Affairs of the City of Jasło, the Podkarpacie Winemakers Association, and the Jasło Winemakers Association “Vinum pro cultura”.
Winnica Ewy
Winnica Ewy is a small, family-owned vineyard located in Jasło, on a southwest-facing slope in a picturesque valley, directly above the owners' residence. It covers an area of 0,13 hectares. The vineyard is part of the Jasło Wine Route, which promotes local products and enotourism in the region.
HISTORY OF Winnica Ewy
Initially, winemaking was one of the topics Ewa professionally engaged in as a journalist, reporting on training sessions conducted under the "Podkarpackie Vineyards" program. In the spring of 2006, together with her husband Janusz, they planted the first 0,05 hectares of grapevines, gradually expanding the vineyard to its current 0,13 hectares. The vineyard was established and is managed based on the guidance and expertise of Roman Myśliwiec, a pioneer of Polish viticulture. The owners cultivate both table and processing grape varieties, such as Regent, Rondo, Swenson Red, Leon Millot, Marechal Foch, Aurora, Heridan, Jutrzenka, Seyval Blanc, and Solaris. The wines produced are intended for personal use; however, the hosts do not rule out organizing tastings for enotourists in the future.
