Winnica Nizio Naturals
(Previous name: Winnica Dwór Sanna)
Nizio Naturals Vineyard is located in Wierzchowiska Drugie, Lublin Voivodeship, in the Roztocze region. The vineyard covers 3 hectares, with plans to expand to 15 hectares. Grape varieties cultivated include regent, solaris, seyval blanc, muscaris, johanniter, riesling, chardonnay, pinot noir, and grüner veltliner. Wines are produced using ecological and biodynamic methods, with manual grape harvesting. In 2021, the Nizio Naturals brand was introduced, also encompassing cheeses and preserves from own crops.
HISTORY OF Winnica Nizio Naturals
In 2006, the Nizio family purchased a dilapidated manor in Wierzchowiska Drugie. After renovation in 2010, vine planting began in 2012 on 0.5 hectares. In subsequent years, the area increased to 2.5 hectares. In 2015, the Solaris wine won a Gold Medal at the Galicja Vitis competition, and in 2016, Johanniter received the Gold Cork award in Poznań. In 2021, the Nizio Naturals brand was introduced. Currently, the vineyard is managed by Karol Nizio, who serves as oenologist and technologist.
