Winnica Lipowiec
Lipowiec Vineyard is located in the village of Lipowiec, Tereszpol municipality, in the Roztocze region. It covers 2 hectares, divided into three plots, with a total of 4,500 grapevines. Cultivated varieties include whites: Chardonnay, Riesling, Solaris, Johanniter, Souvignier Gris, and reds: Cabernet Cantor, Cabernet Cortis, Dornfelder, Acolon, Zweigelt.
The vineyard offers wine tastings, vineyard and winery tours, and workshops. On-site agritourism cottages are also available. Tours and tastings are conducted by prior telephone arrangement.
HISTORY OF Winnica Lipowiec
In 2008, the Popko family planted 60 Dornfelder vines on a limestone slope between agritourism houses. Initially, the vines were intended for decorative purposes. The first homemade wine inspired the owners to further develop winemaking.
In subsequent years, the vineyard expanded to three plots with a total of 4,500 vines. The owners gained knowledge at the Wine Academy in Jasło. Currently, production includes white, rosé, red, and sparkling wines.
