Although this region lacks historical winemaking traditions, climate changes have spurred the emergence of new wineries offering interesting-quality wines. For anyone looking to combine sightseeing in this exceptional city with discovering Polish winemaking, we’ve prepared a list of vineyards that can be visited on a half-day or full-day trip starting from Łódź Fabryczna railway station.

Departing by car in the morning, you can visit one or several vineyards, enjoy a pleasant time with a glass of wine, and return to the city the same day. Because many smaller vineyards do not yet maintain regular opening hours, it’s best to call ahead and schedule your visit—otherwise, you may arrive to find no one on site.   Smolis Vineyard is located in Brzeziny, approximately 20 km from Łódź, within the Łódź Hills Landscape Park. The cultivation area covers 1.2 hectares, hosting around 4,000 grapevines. The cultivated varieties include Seyval Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Leon Millot, and Rondo. Sparkling wines are produced using the traditional method, with secondary fermentation in the bottle, and age on lees for at least three years.   The range includes both grape wines, including the popular single-varietal johanniter and solaris, and fruit wines - produced using traditional methods from locally grown crops. The winery is renowned for its diversity of styles, from classic whites and reds to sparkling pét-nats and orange wines. The wines are created under the supervision of renowned oenologist Piotr Stopczyński.

  Tulibowo Vineyard is located in the village of Tulibowo, Lipno County, near the widest stretch of the Vistula River. The vineyard spans 17 hectares, cultivating 50,000 haskap berry bushes in four varieties: Wojtek, Klon 44, IndigoGem, and HoneyBee. Since May 2024, the vineyard also offers grape wines from 16,000 vines planted on 4 hectares.   Mazovia grows both classic grape varieties such as Seyval Blanc, Solaris and Regent, as well as less common varietals such as Rkatsiteli, Nero, Mstvane and Kisi. The winery specialises in cuvée wines, which are made from a blend of different grape varieties to create unique flavour compositions. The range includes white, red and orange wines, including the standout Karva - a wine created using the Kakheti method from Caucasian grape varieties.

The Mazovia winery cultivates the region's winemaking traditions, referring to the historical cultivation of grapes on the Pilica River, which existed here as early as the 16th century.
