Winnica Dwórzno
Dwórzno Winery is the largest vineyard in the Mazovia region and one of the largest in Poland, located just 40 km from Warsaw. It extends over 9 hectares and the entire farm covers 50 hectares, where grapes and fruits such as raspberries, blackcurrant and kamchatka berry are grown.
The range includes both grape wines, including the popular single-varietal johanniter and solaris, and fruit wines - produced using traditional methods from locally grown crops. The winery is renowned for its diversity of styles, from classic whites and reds to sparkling pét-nats and orange wines. The wines are created under the supervision of renowned oenologist Piotr Stopczyński.
The Dwórzno vineyard is also an important oenotourism destination, offering tours with tastings and the organisation of events. Highlights include the annual Wine Festival, summer jazz picnics and even winter walruses in wine vats. Its wide range of attractions and convenient location make it one of the most visited wineries in the country.
HISTORY OF Winnica Dwórzno
The history of Dwórzno Winery dates back to the 1990s, when its founder, Wiesław Gowin, began buying up land in his home area. Originally, the farm grew raspberries, and the idea for a vineyard was born as a result of experimental vinification of these fruits.
In 2012, the first vines were planted and three years later the first harvest took place. In 2018, the winery opened to tourists, offering regular tours and tastings. Since then, it has become one of the most popular oenotourism destinations in Poland.
Currently, the vineyard is managed by the founder's sons, Wiktor and Oskar Gowin, who develop the project, taking care of ecological cultivation and modern vinification technologies. Thanks to this, wines from Dwórzno are gaining recognition both at home and abroad, and the winery is developing dynamically, remaining one of the key wine producers in the Mazovia region.
