At the latest edition of the London Wine Competition 2024, the Polish Bona Terra Winery achieved a remarkable success, winning three medals.
Winnica Bona Terra
Bona Terra Vineyard (Latin for “good earth”) is a family estate located in Krzyżówki, in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region. It spans nearly 4 hectares. The vineyard places strong emphasis on terroir – soil, local microclimate, and plot exposure are fundamental to the character of its wines.
HISTORY OF Winnica Bona Terra
Bona Terra was founded by Agnieszka Taraszkiewicz and her husband. The initial phase involved soil surveys, experimental plantings, and observations to determine how vines adapt to local soil, sunlight exposure, and climate. Over time, the vineyard expanded into sparkling wine production using the traditional method.
