Winnica Parypa
Parypa Vineyard is a family-run vineyard managed by Dariusz Parypa in Byczyna, in the Opole Voivodeship. The vineyard is located near Byczyna at an elevation of 200–210 metres above sea level; the vines grow in light sandy-clay soil.
Parypa Vineyard covers approximately 1 hectare of cultivation and has around 4,000 vines. For wine tourists, its location near Byczyna is significant, as the town has preserved its defensive walls, three towers, two churches, a municipal granary and a chapel. Around 8 km from the town, on the Biskupice-Brzózki reservoir, there is a replica of a medieval knights' stronghold.
HISTORY OF Winnica Parypa
Parypa Vineyard was established in 2010 by Dariusz Parypa. The first thousand vines were planted that same year.
Since 2018, Parypa Vineyard has officially sold its wines. Its initial wine range included Quercus, Juniperus and Rubus wines.
