Vineyards close to Szczecin

The landscape of Szczecin

Szczecin is one of Poland’s largest cities, with approximately 387,700 inhabitants. Despite its northwestern location, vineyards have been established around Szczecin (including large ones) thanks to the influence of a milder Western European climate, resulting in conditions similar to some German Baltic Sea wine regions. For anyone looking to combine sightseeing in this exceptional city with discovering Polish winemaking, we’ve prepared a list of vineyards that can be visited on a half-day or full-day trip starting from Szczecin Główny railway station.

Departing by car in the morning, you can visit one or several vineyards, enjoy a pleasant time with a glass of wine, and return to the city the same day (perhaps to continue tasting in one of the many wine bars). Because many smaller vineyards do not yet maintain regular opening hours, it’s best to call ahead and schedule your visit—otherwise, you may arrive to find no one on site. Contact details are available on each vineyard’s page on our portal.
