Winnica Pałac Mierzęcin
Pałac Mierzęcin Vineyard is located in the Lubusz Voivodeship, in the village of Mierzęcin, near Lake Mierzęcińskie. The vineyard spans 8.75 hectares, with over 35,000 grapevines cultivated. Nineteen grape varieties are grown, including white varieties: Kernling, Riesling, Solaris, Seyval Blanc, and red varieties: Rondo, Regent, Zweigelt. The vineyard has its own winery and wine cellar, producing white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines. The estate offers tastings, winemaking workshops, and vinotherapy as part of the Grape Spa.
HISTORY OF Winnica Pałac Mierzęcin
In 1998, the company Novol purchased the dilapidated Pałac Mierzęcin and began its renovation. In 2004, the vineyard was established with the planting of the first grapevines. In 2009, the Rondo 2009 wine won a gold medal at the ENOEXPO International Wine Fair. In 2024, the first sparkling wine produced using the traditional method was introduced to the offer.
