Winnica Kalina
Kalina Vineyard is a small, family winery located in the village of Sieniawa, in the Łagów Lubuski commune, Lubusz Voivodeship. The vineyard covers about 0.5 hectare of vine plantings. The owners run a cozy operation offering wine tastings and traditional liqueurs in their own setting. Guests can also enjoy homemade cuisine, smoked meats, fish, pierogi, and baked goods prepared on site.
Kalina is part of the Lubusz Wine and Honey Trail. The local soil, exposure, and microclimate support vine growth, and the cultivation is undertaken with careful attention. The owners share their knowledge of viticulture and wine production with visitors.
HISTORY OF Winnica Kalina
Kalina Vineyard was founded in 2008 by Teresa and Zbigniew Pohrebny. Its initial plantings included varieties such as Dornfelder, Hibernal, Rondo, Solaris, and Zweigeltrebe.
Over time, the owners expanded the visitor-offer to include tastings, homemade liqueurs, and local food. The vineyard is arranged so that no more than ten visitors can be hosted simultaneously. The homestead offers a kitchen and smokehouse, bringing local flavors into the wine experience.
