The official, full results of the 13th International Wine Competition Galicja Vitis 2025 have just been published. Polish wineries have won 23 gold medals, marking the fourth-best result in our history.
Kraków once again hosted the international jury. Several hundred wines from across Central Europe were entered into the competition, including submissions from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova, the Czech Republic and Germany.
The high quality of the entries and the strict competition regulations meant that – just as in the previous year – the jury awarded only gold medals.
Polish wineries secured 23 gold medals, placing 2025 as our fourth-best year ever:

Among the Polish producers, the most successful were:
- Winnica Chodorowa – 3 medals
- Winnica Braci Czart – 2 medals
- Winnica Cantina – 2 medals
- Winnica Kmiecia – 2 medals
- Winnica Rodzinna Ćwielong-Olszewski – 2 medals
- Winnica z Gór Pieprzowych – 2 medals
- Winnica Golesz – 2 medals
It is especially gratifying that Polish wineries earned medals in nearly every competition category – e.g. white, red, rosé, and sparkling – demonstrating our ability to produce a diverse range of wines at the highest international level.
Congratulations to all the award winners! Their achievements not only reinforce the standing of Polish winemaking in Europe but also inspire further growth and innovation in our rapidly developing wine industry.
