Polish wineries with 4 medals at Decanter World Wine Awards 2025

Decanter World Wine Awards 2025 - awards for Polish Wineries

The results are in for one of the world’s most prestigious wine competitions – the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025. This year, Polish wines took home four Bronze medals, improving on last year’s total!

About the Competition

The Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) is the largest and most influential wine competition in the world, held annually since 2004. This year marked the 22nd edition of the event. Wines from 57 countries were evaluated by 248 top international wine experts from 35 countries – including 22 Master Sommeliers and 72 Masters of Wine – the highest number of judges in the competition’s history.

The judging process is exceptionally rigorous, with the highest honors – Best in Show, Platinum, and Gold – awarded to wines scoring 95 points or more. Bronze medals, while a tier below, still represent a significant mark of quality.

Success for Poland

This year, four Polish wines received Bronze medals – one more than in the 2024 edition. Here are the details:

  • Winnica Silesian earned three medals, marking a return to the winners’ list after a three-year break (their last medals came in 2022);
  • Winnica Dom Jantoń won its very first medal in the DWWA – congratulations!

Congratulations and Best Wishes

We sincerely congratulate both awarded wineries – this recognition proves that Polish wines are increasingly gaining attention on the international stage. We hope to see even more medals in future editions of the DWWA – and perhaps even some in silver or gold (again).
