The medal results of the 16th National Polish Wine Competition “Winobranie 2025” have been announced. The competition was held on July 16–17 in Zielona Góra.
Winnica Silesian
Winnica Silesian is one of the largest wine producers in Poland, located in the picturesque village of Bagieniec in the Fore-Sudetic region, just a 40-minute drive from Wrocław. The vineyard covers an area of 11 hectares, cultivating both classic grape varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, as well as modern hybrid strains like Solaris, Seyval Blanc, and Cabernet Cortis. Wines from Winnica Silesian are distinguished by their unique taste and aroma, reflecting the specificity of the Lower Silesian terroir. The vineyard offers tours and tastings of its products by prior arrangement and organizes cultural and culinary events, attracting wine enthusiasts from across the country.
HISTORY OF Winnica Silesian
Winnica Silesian was established in 2016 by the Mazurek family, who have been involved in breeding Silesian horses for five generations. The idea of founding a vineyard arose from a desire to diversify agricultural activities and a passion for winemaking. Within a week, 55,000 seedlings of 12 different grape varieties were planted. Currently, the vineyard is managed by the third generation of the family, combining tradition with modern wine production technologies. Winnica Silesian has gained recognition in both domestic and international markets, with its products available in renowned restaurants and on LOT Polish Airlines flights.
