The Lower Silesian Beer and Wine Trail is a route connecting local craft breweries and vineyards, officially established in 2018 as an initiative of the Stowarzyszenie Winnice Dolnośląskie (Lower Silesian Vineyards Association) and the Dolnośląskie Stowarzyszenie Browarów Rzemieślniczych (Lower Silesian Craft Breweries Association), supported by the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
Winnica Silensi
Silensi Vineyard is located in Wojnarowice, at the foot of Mount Ślęża in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The cultivation area covers over 1 hectare, where grape varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Gewürztraminer are grown. Wines are produced on-site in a winery organized within repurposed shipping containers. The vineyard offers tastings and hosts outdoor events for up to 250 people. It is a member of the Lower Silesian Vineyards Association and part of the Lower Silesian Beer and Wine Trail.
HISTORY OF Winnica Silensi
The vineyard was established in 2015 by the second generation of the Stefański family. The family arrived in Wojnarowice in 1947 from the Laon area in France. The project was created out of respect for the multicultural history of the region and the desire to unite family and friends through collaborative work. The vineyard serves as a bridge between generations and cultures, continuing the winemaking traditions of the area.
