Vineyards Around Wrocław

The lanscape of Wroclaw

Wrocław is the third largest city in Poland, home to approximately 674,132 inhabitants and one of the country’s most visited cities by tourists, thanks to its rich history and proximity to the German and Czech borders (in 2024 the city welcomed over 6.6 million visitors). For anyone looking to combine sightseeing in this exceptional city with discovering Polish winemaking, we’ve prepared a list of vineyards that can be visited on a half-day or full-day trip starting from Wrocław Główny railway station. The Lower Silesian Voivodeship, where Wrocław is located, is a region with the country’s oldest winemaking traditions and a favorable climate and terrain for viticulture Wroclaw, making the surrounding area an ideal destination for wine tourism.

Departing by car in the morning, you can visit one or several vineyards, enjoy a pleasant time with a glass of wine, and return to the city the same day (perhaps to continue tasting in one of the many wine bars). Because many smaller vineyards do not yet maintain regular opening hours, it’s best to call ahead and schedule your visit—otherwise, you may arrive to find no one on site. Contact details are available on each vineyard’s page on our portal.
