In this year’s edition of the prestigious AWC Vienna 2024 competition, Polish winemaking once again made its mark on the international stage. Among the 10,824 wines submitted by 1,412 producers from 41 countries around the world, the only awarded representative from Poland was Turnau Winery.
Nine Medals for Turnau – Including Three Golds
Turnau Winery reaffirmed its excellence by winning a total of 9 medals – 3 gold and 6 silver. This result matches their 2023 performance, proving not only the consistency of their quality but also their commitment to excellence. Wines from this West Pomeranian winery successfully competed with renowned brands from Austria, Italy, Germany, and Spain.
A Consistent Presence Among the Best
AWC Vienna is one of the largest and most demanding wine competitions in the world. The fact that Turnau Winery has earned medals there in 8 out of the 9 editions since 2016 is a testament to the winery’s stable and high production quality. The only year it did not appear among the winners was 2021 – an edition held in the shadow of the pandemic and its related constraints.
