Winnica Przybysławice
Winnica Przybysławice is located in the village of Przybysławice, approximately 8 km north of Kraków, on the southern slope of Lipowiec Hill, at an elevation of 320–325 meters above sea level. The vineyard covers an area of over 0.5 hectares. Grape varieties cultivated include Solaris, Seyval Blanc, Johanniter, Hibernal, Cabernet Cortis, Regent, Souvignier Gris, Zweigelt, and Grüner Veltliner. The vineyard has been undergoing conversion to organic farming since 2024.
HISTORY OF Winnica Przybysławice
In 2011 and 2012, Marcin Litwa traveled to Tuscany and Abruzzo, which inspired him to establish his own vineyard. He decided to start in the spring of 2013. In 2014, he planted approximately 1,200 vines of varieties such as Leon Millot, Marechal Foch, Regent, Rondo, Cabernet Cortis, Solaris, Seyval Blanc, Johanniter, and Hibernal. In 2019, he replaced some varieties with the new Souvignier Gris. By 2022, the number of vines increased to about 2,250, adding Zweigelt and Grüner Veltliner. In 2018, he began commercial wine production.
