Winnica Gostchorze

Gostchorze Vineyard is a picturesque winery located in the village of Gostchorze, near Krosno Odrzańskie in the Lubusz Voivodeship. It spans 15 hectares of green hills along the Oder River, within the Natura 2000 area known as the Krośnieńska Dolina Odry. The owner, Guillaume Dubois, a Frenchman with Polish roots, specializes in producing sparkling wines using the traditional method. The vineyard cultivates varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Saint Pepin. Its flagship product, GostArt sparkling wine, has gained recognition both domestically and internationally.

HISTORY OF Winnica Gostchorze

The history of Gostchorze Vineyard dates back to 2007 when Guillaume Dubois, captivated by the Lubusz region, decided to establish a vineyard in Gostchorze. The initial grapevine plantings took place in 2009, and over the following years, the vineyard expanded to its current size of 15 hectares. In 2014, Dubois produced his first small batch of traditional method sparkling wine, which was well-received by experts from Champagne and Poland. Encouraged by this success, he commenced regular production of GostArt sparkling wine in subsequent years, earning numerous awards at national and international wine competitions.
