Winnica Gala
Gala Vineyard is located in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in the village of Ujkowice near Przemyśl. It covers an area of 1.3 hectares on a southern slope, with vine rows running north-south. Cultivated varieties include Cabernet Cortis, Regent, Hibernal, Muscaris, and Solaris, planted in pairs every 1.6 meters. Production includes red cuvée wines, varietal white wines, dry, semi-dry, and rosé wines, depending on the vintage. The production ratio of white to red wines is 50% each.
HISTORY OF Winnica Gala
Gala Vineyard was established in 2005 by Jarosław Gala in the village of Ujkowice, in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship. Initially, the vineyard covered 0.25 hectares, with plans to expand to 2–3 hectares. It is situated at an elevation of 230–245 meters above sea level, on a southwest-facing slope with a 20% incline, featuring sandy-clay soil. The owner cultivates nine grape varieties, including Sibera, Seyval Blanc, and Bianca. The vineyard is a member of the Vineyards of the San Valley Association. Currently, the owner propagates grapevines for personal use and neighbors, with plans to sell wine on the farm.
