Winnica Żuraw
Żuraw Vineyard is located in Żurawica near Przemyśl. It currently covers about 0.20 hectare, with plans to expand to 2-3 hectares. The vineyard offers wine tastings, tours, and wine sales. Its production is artisanal and manual, using both hybrid and classic grape varieties. Dominant varieties include Seyval Blanc, Regent, Leon Millot, and Cabernet Cortis. The vineyard seeks to reflect local climatic and terrain conditions in the character of its wines.
HISTORY OF Winnica Żuraw
Żuraw Vineyard was founded in 2014 by owner Mariusz Piruta. From its beginning it has been operated at a small scale, with plans for gradual expansion into more hectares.
The vineyard is a member of the Podkarpacie Winegrowers Association. It cultivates grape varieties such as Seyval Blanc, Regent, Leon Millot, and Cabernet Cortis. Nearby stands Fort XII “Werner”, built around 1882-1886, which adds historical context to the vineyard’s surroundings.
