Winnice Przeworskie
Przeworskie Winnice is a family winery run by Elżbieta and Dariusz Rosół, located in Aleksandrów, a district of Przeworsk in southeastern Poland. The vineyard spans around 2.2 hectares on a southwest-facing slope with clay-loam soils in the valley of the Mleczka River, which support favorable grape development.
The winery produces white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines. Its labels bear names of family members: female names for white wines, male names for red and rosé.
HISTORY OF Winnice Przeworskie
The winery’s story began in 2002, when Dariusz Rosół planted the first vines by his home garage. Significant plantings on the current site in Aleksandrów were made in 2010.
Since 2013, Przeworskie Winnice has been officially operating, including wine processing and sales. In 2015, it became a certified producer of communion wine, allowing production of wine for liturgical use under canonical law.
