Winnica Vae Soli
Vae Soli Vineyard is situated on a hill between the villages of Łaz and Zabór, approximately 15 km from Zielona Góra. The cultivation area covers 2 hectares, hosting around 4,500 grapevines. The cultivated varieties include solaris, johanniter, traminer, riesling, monarch, and recently zweigelt and roter riesling. The vineyard offers white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines. Visits and tastings are available by prior arrangement.
HISTORY OF Winnica Vae Soli
Vae Soli Vineyard was established in 2013 by Andrzej Prusiński. The initial plantings included solaris, johanniter, monarch, regent, and traminer varieties. In subsequent years, new varieties such as zweigelt and roter riesling were introduced. The first professional harvest took place in 2016, and wine sales began during the 2017 Winobranie festival. The vineyard's name, derived from the Book of Ecclesiastes, means "Woe to the one who is alone".
