Winnica Ingrid
Winnica Ingrid is one of the most recognizable vineyards in the Lubusz region, located on the southern slopes of the villages of Łaz and Zabór, often referred to as the "Lubusz Tuscany." The vineyard consists of two parts: the first covers 0.5 hectares in Łaz, while the second, spanning 2 hectares, is located 300 meters away toward Zabór, within Poland’s largest vineyard, known as the "Samorządowa Vineyard." In total, 12,000 grapevines are cultivated, including six noble varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau, Zweigelt, and one hybrid – Solaris. The vineyard offers guided tours with wine tastings and accommodation in rooms designed in a Tuscan style. The presence of lavender growing among the vines adds a romantic touch to the vineyard, enhancing its unique atmosphere.
HISTORY OF Winnica Ingrid
Winnica Ingrid was established in 2008, making it one of the older vineyards in the Lubusz region. From the very beginning, it has consisted of two parts: a 0.5-hectare plot in the village of Łaz and a larger, 2-hectare section in Zabór, within the "Samorządowa Vineyard" area. Inspired by the landscape reminiscent of Tuscany, the vineyard’s owners decided to plant lavender and roses among the vines, giving the estate its distinctive character.
The vineyard achieved its first significant success in 2015, winning a gold medal for its Riesling. In 2018, for the quality of its wines, Winnica Ingrid was honored with the title of "Best Vineyard in the Lubusz Voivodeship" at a regional winemaking contest, marking an important milestone in the owners' dedication and hard work. The vineyard continues to grow, winning further awards and distinctions in national and international wine competitions.
