Winnica Siepietnica
Siepietnica Vineyard covers approximately 0.50 hectares and is part of the Jasło Winegrowers Association. It is located on a steep slope visible from the surroundings, beside National Road 28 (“Carpathian Route”), close to Jasło and Biecz. The vineyard belongs to the ecological farm “Podkarpackie Pole”, which also cultivates vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
The vines grow on a slope with exposure that supports good sun exposure and favorable ripening conditions. Siepietnica Vineyard does not offer wine tourism visits on site, nor direct sales of wine “on the premises”.
HISTORY OF Winnica Siepietnica
Siepietnica Vineyard was founded in 2012. Since then, it has been a part of the Jasło Winegrowers Association. The village of Siepietnica (gmina Skołyszyn) was selected because of its westward location in the association, steep slopes, sun exposure, and soil conditions. The vineyard has around 2,000 vines. As part of the ecological farm “Podkarpackie Pole”, the vineyard practices natural viticulture.
