Winnica Hirundo

Hirundo Vineyard is located in Szerzyny, in Lesser Poland. The 0.5-hectare plantation was established on the grounds of an old farm, on a southern slope adjacent to Wielki Las, which is part of the Pasma Brzanki Landscape Park.

Hirundo Vineyard is developing enotourism facilities: a space for tastings is being prepared in the former barn, while a wine bar and accommodation base are also being built.

The name Hirundo Vineyard refers to the Latin word for swallow. According to the owners, these birds appear on the farm grounds from early spring.

HISTORY OF Winnica Hirundo

The history of Hirundo Vineyard is connected to the owners' trips to Italy, where they became interested in grape cultivation. Over time, they decided to establish their own vineyard in Szerzyny.

Before Hirundo Vineyard was established, the right plot of land was sought for several years, the project was consulted with specialists, and the soil was prepared for cultivation. The first grapevines were planted in 2021.

Hirundo Vineyard was founded as a small winery. Its development includes both grape cultivation and the adaptation of existing farm buildings.
