The medal results of the 16th National Polish Wine Competition “Winobranie 2025” have been announced. The competition was held on July 16–17 in Zielona Góra.
Winnica Pod Wieżą
Vineyard Pod Wieżą is located in Trzebule, Lubusz Voivodeship, approximately 20 km west of Zielona Góra. The vineyard covers an area of 3.5 hectares. There are over 13,000 grapevines cultivated on the estate. Grape varieties include: riesling, pinot noir, chardonnay, regent, solaris, cabernet cortis. The vineyard produces still and sparkling wines, including sparkling wines made using the traditional method. The estate features a viewing tower with a small wine museum, a stone wine cellar, a pond, a swimming pool, a sauna, a grill, a bonfire area, a mushroom drying facility, and two agritourism houses offering a total of 15 accommodation places. The vineyard offers wine tastings, vineyard tours, and organizes enotourism events.
HISTORY OF Winnica Pod Wieżą
Vineyard Pod Wieżą was established in 2015 by Anna and Andrzej Kurpiel. The first grapevine plantings began in the same year. In 2016, the plantings were supplemented. In 2020, the cabernet cortis variety was introduced. In 2021, the production of sparkling wines using the traditional method commenced. The vineyard developed gradually, increasing the number of grapevines and cultivation area. The vineyard's name refers to the viewing tower located on its grounds.
