The Vineyard Na Leśnej Polanie is located in Proczki, Zabór commune, Lubusz Voivodeship. The vineyard covers an area of 4.5 hectares. Cultivated grape varieties include: dornfelder, zweigeltrebe, cabernet, blauer portugieser, traminer, müller thurgau, pinot gris, pinot blanc, pinot noir, riesling, ortega, bianca, muscat morawski, solaris. The vineyard offers wine tastings in a larch barn or winery, conducts training on grapevine cultivation and wine production, operates a grapevine nursery, and provides agritourism accommodation with two four-person rooms with bathrooms. On-site amenities include a coach parking area and a children's playground.
HISTORY OF Winnica na Leśnej Polanie
In 1999, the first grapevines were planted in Proczki, initially for ornamental purposes and dessert fruit production. In 2002, the first wine was produced from the vineyard's own grapes. In 2003, the vineyard showcased its products at the Days of Zielona Góra, also offering seedlings from its own nursery. In 2004, due to unfavorable climatic conditions in Proczki, cultivation of must grape varieties began on land located 3 km from the main site. In 2009, on a new 1-hectare area, 18 processing grape varieties were planted, including müller thurgau, dornfelder, pink traminer, pinot gris, pinot blanc, oporto, riesling, ortega, bianca. Since 2014, the vineyard has expanded by an additional 3 hectares cultivated on the Municipal Vineyard.
