Winnica Krokoszówka Górska is located in Smardzowice, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, on the outskirts of the Ojców National Park. Situated on three plots with southern and western exposure, at an elevation of approximately 400 meters above sea level. The vineyard's soils are rendzina limestone with a clay-stone structure. The cultivation area covers about 1 hectare. Grape varieties grown include Leon Millot, Marechal Foch, Swenson Red, Kristaly, Jutrzenka, Seyval Blanc, Solaris, and Regent. The vineyard offers wine tastings, winery tours, and year-round grapevine cultivation courses. On-site facilities include a renovated barn serving as a winery and a grapevine nursery.
HISTORY OF Winnica Krokoszówka Górska
Winnica Krokoszówka Górska was established in 2005 by Bożena and Marek Górski in Smardzowice. The initial plantings covered several ares near Mrs. Bożena's family home. In subsequent years, the vineyard expanded to approximately 1 hectare. In 2013, the vineyard was included in the Małopolska Wine Trail.
