Winnica Hiki
Hiki Vineyard is a family-run winery located in the village of Bycz, near the picturesque town of Bytom Odrzański in the Lubusz Voivodeship. The vineyard spans 1.3 hectares and cultivates over 3,000 grapevines. The varieties grown include Riesling, Solaris, Traminer, Cabernet Cortis, Zweigelt, Acolon, and Pinot Noir.
HISTORY OF Winnica Hiki
Hiki Vineyard was founded in 2006 by Katarzyna and Władysław Hiki with the aim of reviving local winemaking traditions dating back to the 17th century. The initial planting consisted of 400 grapevines, which eventually expanded to the current size. Inspired by travels to Mediterranean countries, Władysław Hiki sought to bring his experiences to the Lubusz region, leading to the creation of the vineyard. Tragically, in 2022, Władysław Hiki passed away at the age of 61, leaving behind a legacy of a flourishing vineyard.
