HISTORY OF Winnica Gaj
Gaj Vineyard was established in 2004 by Andrzej Barański. The initial plantings included several rows of grapevines near an old wooden house with a garden. In 2014, the vineyard was incorporated into the Małopolski Szlak Winny (Lesser Poland Wine Route).
In 2016, a new 0.6-hectare parcel was planted on a southern slope at an elevation of 300–310 meters above sea level. In 2017, production of sparkling wines using the méthode ancestrale began. In 2024, the vineyard was registered as a grape wine producer.
