Winnice Pradoliny

Winnice Pradoliny is a family-run organic vineyard located in Trzciana, on the border between the Carpathian Foothills and the Sandomierz Basin, approximately 13 km from Rzeszów. The vineyards are situated at an elevation of around 300 metres above sea level, with heavy Class III clay soils predominant in the area.

Winnice Pradoliny and the surrounding farm hold an Organic Farming Certificate. The wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in the vineyard’s own organic plantations, while both vine cultivation and winery processes are carried out in accordance with organic processing principles.

Winnice Pradoliny is part of the Carpathian Wine Route, which connects wine estates across the Podkarpackie region and serves as a wine tourism trail. The vineyard offers views of nearby towns and the western part of Rzeszów.

HISTORY OF Winnice Pradoliny

The history of Winnice Pradoliny is connected with the family’s earlier organic activities. Before the vineyard was established, an organic farm operated on the site; after it was purchased in 2004, it was covered by an organic farming certificate.

In 2008, the farm associated with Winnice Pradoliny began producing organic buckwheat and spelt, and in 2010 it shifted its focus from organic cereal production to organic fruit. Production of organic fruit juices also began during this period.

Winnice Pradoliny began cultivating grapevines in 2014 on an area of 0.5 hectares. Its first wines were produced in 2016.

In 2018, Winnice Pradoliny received an Organic Farming Certificate covering the entire farm; at that time, the vineyard covered 1.5 hectares. A year later, the plantings were expanded by a further 1.9 hectares, and some cultivation work was mechanised.
