Winnica Księżycowa

Winnica Księżycowa is a boutique wine producer located in Połomia in the Podkarpacie region - one of the most dynamically developing wine regions in Poland. On an area of less than a hectare, the owners passionately cultivate the vines, relying on manual work and attention to detail.

The winery's signature offering is the dry Solaris, appreciated for its notes of apple and white apricot and subtle acidity. All wines are made under the guidance of oenologist Piotr Stopczyński, who combines an artisanal approach with professional experience.

Winnica Księżycowa is a place where nature and innovation combine in the production of wines that reflect the unique character of the Podkarpacie terroir. It is a perfect example of harmony between tradition and modernity in Polish winemaking.

HISTORY OF Winnica Księżycowa

The Księżycowa Vineyard was founded in 2016 on the initiative of Kasia and Matthew Zych, who, coming from the fields of pedagogy and IT, decided to pursue their passion for wine together. The first vine planting was a watershed moment, heralding the development of the winery.

In 2018, the first vintage of wine was produced, which started a new era in the business. The following years saw both successes and challenges - in 2020, the vineyard lost its entire harvest due to a severe hailstorm, which the owners described as a "meteor shower". The breakthrough year was 2022, when a partnership with oenologist Piotr Stopczynski began, allowing the quality of production to be raised to a new level.

With its history full of challenges and successes, Winnica Księżycowa is today a symbol of passion, determination and the pursuit of excellence in Polish winemaking.
