Winnica Notabene
Notabene Vineyard is located in Pstrągowa, Subcarpathian Voivodeship. The vineyard is situated on a south-facing slope with an inclination of approximately 15%. The cultivation area covers 0.5 hectares, with around 2,400 grapevines. White grape varieties include aurora, seyval blanc, adalmina, jutrzenka, hibernal, solaris, sibera, bianca; red varieties include frontenac, heridan, marechal foch, leon millot, regent, rondo. The vineyard produces approximately 2,000 bottles of wine annually, including about 1,200 bottles of white wine and 800 bottles of red wine. Wine tastings and special events are organized on-site, and vineyard tours are available by prior arrangement.
HISTORY OF Winnica Notabene
Notabene Vineyard was established in 2015 by Wiesław Kujda. Initially, the property featured an old house, a barn, and a grass-covered hill. Over time, the buildings were renovated, and work on the vineyard commenced. Family and friends of the owner were involved in the development. The vineyard's name derives from the Latin phrase "nota bene," meaning "note well" or "by the way." The wine names also have Latin origins, referencing Roman legal terminology, such as "Primus" (first), "Versus" (legal opponent), and "Collis" (hill).
