Lawendowa Winnica
(Previous name: Winnica Mazurak)
Lawendowa Vineyard is located in Błażowa Dolna, in the Podkarpacie region. It combines vine cultivation with a lavender plantation. The vineyard offers wine tastings, tours, and sales of wine and lavender-based products. Positioned on a south-facing slope with views over surrounding hills, its soils and exposure create favorable conditions. The estate currently grows multiple grape varieties and about 800 lavender plants. Work at the vineyard includes careful observation of the site’s potential and adaptation to local climatic conditions.
HISTORY OF Lawendowa Winnica
Lawendowa Vineyard was founded by Dorota and Krzysztof Mazurak in 2008. The first vintage harvest took place in 2011. The initial vineyard area was modest — approximately 20 ares with a few varieties and several hundred vines. Over the years, the vineyard expanded to about half a hectare, with an increase in both number of vines and grape varieties. Concurrently, a lavender plantation was established, featuring around 800 lavender bushes.
The owners have been involved in regional wine-grower associations, participating in viticulture and enology training programs. There are plans to expand the visitor infrastructure with tasting rooms and hospitality space for guests.
