Winnica Zadora
Zadora Vineyard is located in the village of Szczepanowice, in Tarnów County, Lesser Poland. The cultivation area covers over 2 hectares, hosting grape varieties such as johanniter, solaris, orion, phoenix, merzling, ortega, regent, rondo, acolon, and pinot noir. The vineyard offers tours combined with tastings for groups of 6 to 8 people, by prior arrangement. Wines produced on-site have gained recognition and awards in national wine competitions.
HISTORY OF Winnica Zadora
Zadora Vineyard was established in 2007 by Zofia and Stanisław Michałowski near the site of a former vineyard operated by the Chrząstowski family of the Zadora coat of arms, who owned the village of Szczepanowice until the mid-19th century. Initially, 0.2 hectares were planted with grapevines, and in subsequent years, the vineyard's area was expanded to the current over 2 hectares. In 2011, the vineyard registered commercial wine production, becoming one of the smallest Polish vineyards conducting sales.
