Winnica Kuźnia
Kuźnia Vineyard is located in the western part of Gromnik, on the border with Siemiechów, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is situated on a south-western slope at an elevation of approximately 300 meters above sea level. The vineyard covers an area of about 0.5 hectares. Grape varieties cultivated include Solaris, Johanniter (white) and Bolero, Monarch, Cabernet Carol (red). Additionally, there is an experimental cultivation of several dessert varieties. Wines from the vineyard have been presented at national competitions, receiving awards and distinctions. The owners offer the possibility of visiting the vineyard and cellar by prior arrangement.
HISTORY OF Winnica Kuźnia
Kuźnia Vineyard was established in the spring of 2008 by Joanna and Piotr Zagórski. The vineyard is part of the Zagórski brothers' family winemaking venture, which also includes the Demeter and Sucha Góra vineyards. In 2013, the vineyard was incorporated into the Małopolska Wine Route. Wines from Kuźnia Vineyard have been presented at national competitions, receiving awards and distinctions.
