The medal results of the 16th National Polish Wine Competition “Winobranie 2025” have been announced. The competition was held on July 16–17 in Zielona Góra.

Jadwiga Vineyard is a family-run winery located in Mienice on the Trzebnica Hills, approximately 17 kilometers north of Wrocław in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It cultivates both white varieties, such as Johanniter, Muscaris, Souvignier Gris, and Chardonnay, and red varieties, including Pinot Noir, Regent, Rondo, and Cabernet Cortis.
The vineyard's name refers to the region's patron, Saint Hedwig of Silesia, and its logo is based on the shape of a ducal mitre featuring falcons, symbolizing the owner's interest in falconry.
HISTORY OF Winnica Jadwiga
Jadwiga Vineyard was founded in 2015 by Marek Janiak on the southwestern slopes of the Trzebnica Hills. The initial plantings included Rondo, Regent, Cabernet Cortis, Johanniter, Muscaris, and Solaris varieties on a 1-hectare area. Before planting, the land underwent a two-year agrotechnical preparation to ensure optimal conditions for the vines.
The first harvest took place in 2016, and wines from this vintage earned medals at the ENOEXPO competition in 2017. In 2020, the vineyard expanded to 2 hectares, and in 2023, the owner's son, Mikołaj, a graduate in Food Technology from the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław, joined the team.
Jadwiga Vineyard is also involved in enotourism activities, promoting the wine culture in the region.
