Winnice Wzgórz Trzebnickich
Winnice Wzgórz Trzebnickich is a project encompassing two vineyards: Winnica Węgrów and Winnica Jaksonowice, located in the Trzebnickie Hills in Lower Silesia. The total cultivation area is 3.5 hectares, hosting approximately 15,000 grapevines. The cultivated varieties include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, and Regent. The wines produced in these vineyards have received awards in national wine competitions. The vineyards offer tours, tastings, and the opportunity to purchase wines on-site.
HISTORY OF Winnice Wzgórz Trzebnickich
Winnica Węgrów was established in 2008 by Rafał Wesołowski, who planted 0.4 hectares with various grape varieties. In 2009, Winnica Jaksonowice was founded approximately 2 km from Winnica Węgrów. In the spring of 2009, varieties such as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Chardonnay were planted there. In 2010, the area of Winnica Jaksonowice was expanded to 3 hectares with the addition of 5,000 vines of Gewürztraminer and Regent. The first wines from Winnica Węgrów were produced in 2009, gaining recognition in wine competitions.
