Winnica VinCis
The Vincis vineyard is located in the village of Słowikowa and was founded by Elżbieta and Jan Cisoń. This family-owned vineyard is an integral part of an orchard farm which, in addition to grapes, also grows blueberries and hazelnuts. Situated on a south-facing slope at an altitude of around 460m, the vineyard benefits from a specific microclimate conducive to vine cultivation. Its grounds offer breathtaking views of the Beskid Sądecki and the Tatra Mountains.
On an area of 0.5 hectares, VinCis cultivates a variety of grape varieties. Red varietals include Regent, Rondo, Cabernet Cortis, Monarch, Salome and Maréchal Foch. White wines, on the other hand, are made from varieties such as Muscaris, Solaris, Johanniter and Soreli.
VinCis winery is an example of a modern approach to traditional wine production in Poland. Combining local practices with innovative cultivation methods, the farm relies on natural methods and care for the environment, which is increasingly appreciated by consumers. The winery's offer is aimed at both local customers and tourists wishing to taste wines from the region. Guests have the opportunity to taste the wines on site while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding countryside.
HISTORY OF Winnica VinCis
The history of VinCis winery dates back to 2018, when Elżbieta and Jan Cisoń decided to expand their orchard farm to include viticulture. Located in Słowikowa, about 10 km from Nowy Sącz in the direction of Tarnów, the farm had for years specialised in blueberry and hazelnut growing. The decision to establish a vineyard was a natural step towards diversifying its activities and taking advantage of the favourable climatic conditions of the region.
The first vine plantings included both traditional and hybrid varieties that adapt well to local conditions.
