Winnica na Dziole
Na Dziole Vineyard is located in the village of Świdnik (Łososina Dolna commune), in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is situated on the southern slope of Jodłowiec Hill, near Lake Rożnowskie. The cultivation area covers 6 hectares, with over 23,000 grapevines planted.
Grape varieties cultivated include Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Hibernal, Johanniter, Solaris, Rondo, Regent, and Cabernet Cortis.
The wines produced at the vineyard bear names inspired by emotions, such as: "Miłość" (Love), "Czułość" (Tenderness), "Radość" (Joy), "Wolność" (Freedom), "Zmysłowość" (Sensuality), "Kobiecość" (Femininity), and "Męskość" (Masculinity).
HISTORY OF Winnica na Dziole
Na Dziole Vineyard was established in 2017 by Michał Burnagiel, a graduate in horticulture and enology from the University of Agriculture in Kraków. The inspiration for its creation came from his work at the university's "Garlicki Lamus" vineyard and connections with the St. James Vineyard in Sandomierz.
The initial plantings included Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Rondo, Regent, and Cabernet Cortis grape varieties.
Wine production commenced in 2020. The vineyard operates as a family-run enterprise.
